Privacy Notice

What we collect, why we need it, and the choices you have.

Who is responsible for your data?

Jabari Harper, an individual based in California, United States, operates Tesla Light Show Maker and is the data controller for personal information processed to provide this service. Contact support@teslalightshowmaker.com for privacy questions or requests.

Information we use and why

  • Account information: email address, user identifier, authentication credentials handled by our account provider, and session information let you create an account, sign in, recover access, and protect your account.
  • Show information: song or show title, selected car model, clip timing, musical features, your optional instructions, and generated files let us build and deliver your shows. Saved-show records include your account identifier and creation date.
  • Purchase information: order identifiers, purchased packs, transaction environment, and song-credit changes let us fulfill purchases, manage balances, prevent duplicate credits, and handle billing support. Paddle handles checkout and payment details; we do not receive your full card number through this application.
  • Support messages: your contact information and messages let us answer requests and resolve issues.
  • Technical information: service providers may process IP addresses, browser/device details, access logs, and error diagnostics to deliver the service, maintain reliability, and prevent fraud or abuse.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on contract performance for accounts, purchases, and show delivery; legitimate interests for security, reliability, and support; legal obligations for required financial records; and consent where required for optional processing. We do not use the listed information for advertising or sell personal information.

Local audio analysis and saved audio

Your original audio file is decoded and analyzed in your browser, and is not sent to the AI planner. Derived musical features, the chosen clip range, car model, and your written instructions are sent through Lovable's AI service to an AI model provider to create choreography. Do not include sensitive personal information in your instructions.

Finished files are generated on your device. When a show is saved to your account, its ZIP file is uploaded to private account storage. That ZIP contains choreography and a WAV excerpt of your chosen song, so saved audio does leave your device. The show title may also contain information from the original filename. Account access controls restrict ordinary access to your saved files.

Who receives information?

We share information only as needed with hosting, account, storage, AI, diagnostics, and support providers, including Lovable Cloud and the AI providers used through Lovable's AI service. These providers process data to deliver and protect the service.

Paddle is our reseller and Merchant of Record. We share your account identifier and, when available, email address with Paddle for product sales, purchase fulfillment, payment support, tax compliance, invoicing, and subscription management if applicable. Our current packs are one-time purchases. Paddle processes information under its own Privacy Policy.

We may share relevant information with professional legal or accounting advisers, authorities when required by law, or parties necessary to protect rights and prevent fraud. Providers may process information outside your state or country. Where legally required, we use appropriate transfer safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long is information kept?

Account information and saved shows are kept while your account is active and they are needed to provide the service. You can delete saved shows in your account or contact us to request account deletion. Purchase and credit records may be retained for tax, accounting, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention for the period required by law. Support messages and diagnostics are kept only as long as needed for their stated purposes.

We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed, subject to legal obligations and backup retention. Removal from live storage does not necessarily mean immediate removal from service-provider backups. We do not promise a fixed backup-purge timetable.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information; restrict or object to certain processing; or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. California residents may have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit certain uses, and to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising where those laws apply. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and will not discriminate for exercising applicable rights.

Email us to make a request. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We respond within applicable legal deadlines. Where GDPR applies, rights also include portability, objection, restriction, and complaints to a supervisory authority; we normally respond within one month. Deletion may affect your ability to access saved shows and purchase history, and some records must be retained by law.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, authentication, and access controls for account and saved-show information. No service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential session storage and technologies used by our account, hosting, and payment providers support sign-in, security, and checkout. The application uses browser local storage to keep your sign-in session. We do not currently add optional analytics or marketing cookies in the application. Third-party checkout may use its own cookies, as described in Paddle's notice.

You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser's settings or sign out to end your active session. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or checkout. If we introduce optional cookies requiring consent, we will provide a choice before using them.

Children and changes

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data. We may update this notice and will post a revised date and communicate material changes where required.
